We love to see, do and learn.
We created this web site because it brings together so many of the things we enjoy in life. We've been married for 36 years and love to travel, see, and experience as much of the world as we possibly can. During our travels we take photographs of anything we find interesting about the places we are visiting. Our Travel/Destinations page on this site has detailed pictures of the various places we've visited, as does our YouTube site under John & Virginia's Videos. We didn't go overseas until we had visited Canada, Mexico, and all 50 states. The listing below is a list of our various vacations.

In 2006 we went to Italy and Sicily.
In 2007 we toured England, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
In 2009 we toured Germany, Czech Republic (Czechia), Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria.
In 2013 we toured England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
In 2014 we toured Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Morocco.
In 2015 we toured Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
In 2016 we toured Western Canada:Banff and Jasper.
In 2017 we toured Eastern Canada: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
In 2018 we toured Poland, The Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and then Finland.
In 2018 we also toured Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece.
In 2019 we toured Oceania: Australia, New Zealand North Island, NZ South Island and Fiji.
In 2020 I went to The Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico.
In 2021 we took a tour of Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and back to California.
In 2022 we travelled locally in California since they haven't decided if the pandemic is over or not.
In 2023 we are visiting California counties, of which there are plenty to see!
In 2024 we are visiting our California lakes, wildlife areas, bypasses, and ocean retreats and birding.
In 2025 we are visiting Iceland and Northern Italy with Cinque Terre.
In 2026 we are visiting Japan!
