Vik is a small village located on the South Coast of Iceland, and is a popular stop along the Ring Road. It is most famous for its stunning natural features, particularly its black sand beaches. It is the location for the Reynisfjara Beach voted one of the top non-tropical beaches in the world. This is Iceland's most famous black sand beach. Vikurkirkja Church is a picturesque white and red church situated on a hilltop above Vik.
