We've been to Munich a couple of times and this time the Marienplatz was decorated with beautiful flowers. Marienplatz is Munich's historic central square, the city's heart since 1158, known for the Neo-Gothic New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) with its famous Glockenspiel, the central Marian Column (Mariensäule), and bustling markets, serving as a major meeting point and landmark for both tourists and locals, hosting events like the Christmas Market and featuring historical architecture like the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus).
