Deauville is a glamorous seaside resort town in Normandy, France, renowned as the "Parisian Riviera" and a long-time playground for high society. Developed in the mid-19th century, it's famous for its wide sandy beach lined with iconic Art Deco bathing cabins and colorful parasols, as well as its prestigious horse racingtracks, Grand Casino, and luxury hotels like the Normandy and Royal. The town also gains international recognition for hosting the annual Deauville American Film Festival, drawing celebrities and cinema enthusiasts to its elegant Planchesboardwalk. We were at this seaside resort for the American Film Festival this year.
